No Jr H Practice Today

There will be no Jr H practice today. An announcement will be made at the middle school.
Tomorrow is pictures, please make sure you have practice clothes AND your full uniform with you.
Practice will end at 5pm tomorrow.

VERY busy week

Please read all of the post, if you have any questions, let your daughter's head coach know!
Monday: Shoes/Uniforms
Your daughter will come home with a uniform today. We suggest taking it to zips for dry cleaning. You may wash them at home (gentle cycle with cold water) but YOU MAY NOT DRY THEM. Do not iron either, it will ruin the uniform.
They are numbered, we will know if something is ruined or goes missing. It is your responsibility to pay for any damaged or missing items.
Football Shoes are in and will be distributed on Tuesday to any athlete that has paid for shoes. If you have not yet paid prepare to pay your $20 tomorrow to Eastern York Booster Club. Shoes will not be given without payment.
Comp shoes won't be in for another few weeks.*They are $30 if you want to pay all at once*
Please pick up ALL Cheerleaders by 6:30 PM!

Tuesday: ALL Cheerleaders including Jr H
Silent Study Hall from 2:45-4pm
Meet The Team Begins at 6pm at the HS Field
ALL Cheerleaders and Parents are invited to stay and eat dinner
Varsity Cheerleading families: Please provide a cold side dish (fruit, mac salad, potato salad, veggies)
Jr H Cheerleading families: Please provide a bag of chips or pretzels
After dinner the Coaches do leave, so please have your child call you for pick up when we’re done cheering if you are not coming to watch
EYHS Cheer T (new) and Gold Shorts, Navy Bow
PLEASE come support our girls. This night is for them and the band as much as it is the football players. We would love to see a section of parents/families "with bells on." Wear your tshirts, yell loud and proud. The girls and coaches appreciate it more than you know!

Thursday:Picture Day- Full Uniform- Practice will end at 5pm (THIS IS A CHANGE)
Bring your money and order form!

Friday: No School
Varsity Away Game
Be at the school at 4:45pm

In general…Monday Afterschool Practices:Silent Study Hall from 2:45-3:30 (no phones out, if you don’t have work, bring a book)
Practice from 3:45-6pm
Bring a snack and water!
Tuesday Afterschool Practices: (Beginning September 6th)Competition Team Only
3-5pm
Wednesday Afterschool Practices:3-5pm
If Jr H has a 4pm game they will get changed at the high school and then walk down to the field to stretch as a team
Varsity will stay to practice until 5pm

Game Day Camp Reminders

Game Day Camp:
All Cheerleaders (including Jr High), three evenings at the High School 6-9pm.
Monday: White and Navy CHEER T, Navy Shorts, Navy Bow
Tuesday: EYHS Cheer T (new) and Gold Shorts, Navy Bow (All cheerleaders must dress accordingly- we will take a team picture)
Wednesday: Eat, Sleep, Cheer T and Navy Shorts, Navy Bow

BRING WATER!

Be ready to work! See you at 6pm behind the bleachers!

Clothing pick up!

Just a reminder all cheerleaders should be picking up clothing orders tonight from 6pm to 6:30pm at the high school library. Shoes have not arrived yet so please come prepared to pay for clothing only.
Varsity camp payments are due as well.
All checks made payable to Eastern York Booster Club. Or pay in cash.
Camp is $105.
Clothing varies by person.

After Parent Meeting Announcements

Thanks for coming to the meeting! I appreciate everyone coming out and listening to my mile a minute speech.

A couple things I missed...

If you are missing ANY cheer paperwork it will be available on August 10th at campwear pick up. Whether that is from cheer or the district it will be available at that time.

Physicals MUST be in by August 12th to the main HIGH School office. If you haven't gotten one yet, go to the office and pick one up. You can go to Ready Care or Care Express and typically pay $20 at this time of year. Call first to be sure.

If you are missing ANY of the following paperwork on August 15th, you will have to sit at practice. No exceptions.

  • Code of Conduct Quiz Result (this is on moodle, I don't have your passwords, activation key is eyathletics) You don't need to send this to me, I will check on August 14th to make sure it's complete.
  • Code of Conduct Signature Form (the green paper that states you understand the rules of the district)
  • Cheer signature form (you received this at the meeting)
  • Physical Form
  • Blue Emergency Card


Reminder for any camp wear/ bloomers/ bows/ shoes ordered, please pay in CASH or Check to Eastern York Booster Club when you pick up on August 10th. Comp shoes will not be available until September, so you do not need to pay for those at this time.

Celly (Possibly Not Using this Season- I will keep you posted!)
This is our main form of communication besides our website.
To join a cell on the Celly website, you will need two things:
1) A Celly account
2) The name of the cell you want to join.
If you do not have a Celly account yet, please signup here: cel.ly
Once you have both these things, log into you Celly account. In your inbox, click on the search bar in the top toolbar and type in the name of the cell you want to join.

Then, click on "join cell"

In case of bad/severe weather.
We do workout inside the HS wrestling room for most of our practice, however, if the kids are sent home from school we will not have practice. If school is cancelled for ANY reason, we will not have practice.


COMP Team:
Camp Payments were due last night but I forgot to remind you. Please plan on paying August 10th with your clothing order. Total for camp is $105.00. This is for our Hanover Elite camp, plus a private tumbling clinic for our team in September. We've received multiple compliments thus far on how our team looks. Let's make it our best season yet!

Do not stop doing your Addero work outs! Just because you have a quick break from Coach Grazer and I until the 12th or 15th does not mean you shouldn't be running, working out, and STRETCHING all weekdays! We want to get the most out of camp we can, don't miss out by not being prepared.

We will go over expectations, September calendar. shoe sizing, and make payments for camp. All Varsity cheerleaders should be prepared to pay the $105 camp fee at this time. Cash or check made payable to Eastern York Booster Club accepted.
Do not pay for cheer clothes until camp wear pick up on August 10th.
